Department of Manuscripts

The collection of manuscripts is represented by the Romanian manuscripts, 6000 volumes, followed, in order of importance, by the Greek collection , 1566 volumes, the Slavic one - 860 volumes, the Oriental collection made up of 420 volumes and the Western manuscripts 1,000 volumes, out of which the Latin collection is the most outstanding.
